MONITORING CONTRACT
We can take care of the project from start to finish, which means you can leave the pressure of the build of the garden and any discussions to the experts. We deal with the tender process, material selection, product research and provide site visits, open communication with contractors, updates to you on progress and any construction drawings required for the build.
GARDEN MAINTENANCE
We offer seasonal garden maintenance to tidy up, replace plants, plant bulbs and refresh borders. We do not offer full time garden maintenance contracts but we can recommend local contractors we trust.
2 / HOW MUCH DOES A DESIGN COST?
Design fees vary depending on several different factors such as the size of the garden, what you’d like to include in it, how you’ll use it and its location. I provide a design package, tailored to your requirements which outlines the fee structure and what to expect. My design fees reflect my experience and skill in the industry and sit within the mid-range pricing scale.
3 / HOW MUCH CAN I EXPECT TO SPEND ON THE BUILD?
The budget needed for your garden design to be built depends on several factors such as the garden size, what you’d like to include in the new plan and its location. Different landscapers will also provide different quotes for the same job as this depends on their distance from the site, the size of the company and their skilsl and experience.
The minimum you can expect to spend is around £10,000 for a small garden and typically we don’t take on projects under £20,000.
As an experienced designer, I have managed garden builds from start to finish and therefore have the expertise to design a garden within your budget and the contacts to make it a reality. We do not offer the landscaping itself, but I work with trusted and experienced landscaping teams to bring the design to life.
4 / HOW LONG WILL THE PROCESS TAKE?
Generally from the initial consultation to the garden being ready to enjoy, it takes about a year. The design process shouldn't be rushed as it's crucial we get it right from the start and that you're happy with the design before moving forward. Then it comes down to landscaper availability, which is usually 4-6 months ahead but this can vary depending on when we begin the tender process
5 / ARE YOU A LANDSCAPER?
We do not have a landscaping team, but we only work with trusted, experienced and meticulous landscapers whom we can recommend or work alongside.
From the initial consultation, through the completed garden we provide guidance and can handle every aspect of your project, including design, material selection, landscape construction, and maintenance.
If you have a landscaper you know, would prefer to work with a specific landscaper or build the garden yourselves we can discuss this during our consultation

6 / I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START...
If you're just tired of looking at your garden, if you've just bought your house or if you're renovating your property the start of the process is always the same. It starts with an idea.
When you reach out to a designer, its best to come equipped with some photos of your garden and a short wishlist of how you would love to use your garden. This could be as simple as 'I want to eat outside with friends and family' or 'I want to sit in the morning sun with a coffee'. If you're not sure that's also fine; we will build a brief together.
The most important thing to think about, is not overthinking it. It starts with a simple introduction and chat about what you're looking for and how we can help.
