Thoughtful planting designed for your garden

As part of our full garden design service, Charlotte creates planting plans that bring colour, texture and movement to your garden. Combining your preferences with the garden’s aspect, soil and surroundings, each scheme is designed to feel at home within the wider garden.

Designing planting that will thrive

Charlotte considers the growing conditions of your garden, from soil and aspect to how sheltered or exposed the space is, selecting plants that will thrive and remain resilient as conditions change.

Sustainability is also an important consideration within our planting designs. With hotter, drier periods becoming more common, we look at how planting can make thoughtful use of water and remain resilient when conditions change across seasons.

Bringing your planting design to life

Once the planting plan has been developed, you will receive a planting design moodboard and a 2D planting plan which allows the planting to be accurately translated by your chosen landscaper. As part of the wider garden design project, we help source and purchase plants, carry out the planting and provide ongoing maintenance where required.

“Charlotte did an amazing job at designing our garden, we could not be more delighted. She oversaw the whole project making sure that every detail was adhered to and the end result was fabulous. We have had many great comments! Charlotte has great design ideas and made sure that our main seating area was designed according to where the sun was shining at the right time of day. Her knowledge of plants is incredible and all the plants have been strategically placed. We would recommend her without reservation.”
