The garden design for our client in Barrow Gurney was inspired by their interior style and their vision as a new family. They wanted a space that delivered a "wow" factor, while being perfect for entertaining large groups of friends and family, with multiple seating areas to enjoy throughout the day.

We incorporated a custom outdoor kitchen, featuring a sleek, poured and polished concrete worktop, equipped with everything needed for cooking and barbecuing. A built-in bar with an integrated ice bucket keeps drinks cold, making it an ideal space for socializing while hosting and preparing meals.

To create a cozy retreat, we designed a sunken seating area where the family can relax and enjoy the warmth of a firepit, soaking in the last rays of the evening sun.

With the beautiful surrounding landscape, we kept the garden’s boundary open, for uninterrupted views of the scenery beyond.

Finally, with family in mind, we left plenty of open lawn space for outdoor activities and games, ensuring the garden is both functional and family-friendly.
